The Fox and the Grapes

Reviewed by: Dedoyin

One day a fox travelled many miles and was very hungry. He looked about for food but found nothing to eat.

At last he saw a grapevine on which fine bunches of ripe, black grapes were hanging. The Fox stood up but the grapes were too high above his head.

He made several jumps upwards; still the grapes were beyond his reach. When he could not get at them by any means, he turned away.

While going away, he tried to console himself saying, “The grapes are sour, and not as ripe as they look!”

In every circumstance, we must learn to look at the positive side.
Even in every bad situation, there are some hidden blessings therein.
The story teaches us to be grateful for every circumstance we find ourselves, things may have turned out worse.
