How loud can a corpse scream?
how hard can it nudge or
pain can it suffer?
tell me! how much would be sufficient just to be noticed.

Scream out loud
see 20: 20 to yonder
hear at the highest decibels
cry if you please
the earth is too numb
to be alive.

our illustrious honorable
is alive
so alive to his wife, son and dog
yet he died
the moment he rose to the villa
nothing would matter onwards
he would no more be bothered
on his high horse he loathes
sneering and flashing his fang at his own kinsmen
aided by our wealth
now waltzing across hanging gardens
rooting themselves as immutable rock
amidst the current of impoverished scums they have to come create

Look at the land!
lean and stricken with fiery plagues yet
your jowl droops fat in copious lot
robbed for memory
groveling on both limbs like poor Lazarus
ripe plump breast plucked in that tramp of yours
may you not live
like the rivulet that forgets its source.
