Forces of darkness against the light
children of perdition against the Halo
war in east
flood in the west
drought in north
quake in the south
blood on the street
liars behind the dais

The earth is a numb spheroid ball
pacing laggardly in galaxy
1 dies 
100 die
what's the difference
its just mere statistics we say

A world set to drown in its own blood
who can save?
scores of bodiless head coursing
clumsily in the creeks
putrid corpses in the field
all for ethereal and vain glory

Born as men
die as flies
elegy echoing like love song
only now by Hades
the kindred to death
death to 1 is tragedy it says
death to a million
a statistics that never counts

Do they not know ?
the world dies
only the dead act as thus
only the dead shakes off
this cold hard facts
so I ask?
when will you awake
rise to life
to dignity
to our birthmark
