DEPRESSION
DEPRESSION
Lingering
gray streaks tainting
the
pearly-white heavenly dome
A
bottomless hollow pottery
brewing
storms that quench the fire of passion
the
goading of another waking day
killing
dreams faster than Death itself
A
foreclosure on lifelines.
Beware
brothers
Put
on your guard sisters
For
to hold its haughty stare
makes
one a hard cold stony mass
into
a gloomy world of inert vapour.
Behind
the chariot of dark flames
a
legend that wasted many
a
country of generals
on
life's battlefield
spitting
them into their untimely grave
The
mighty is not spared
they
wilt like a slowing singeing grassland
as
the insidious cancer that eats up the mind
and
licks the bone to dust
Leaving
one lost
in
the middle of nowhere
To
the birthplace
of
the human race
before
the genesis of the world
out
of order - formless.
