GIRL IN THE BLUE DRESS III

GIRL IN THE BLUE DRESS III
Who is that girl in that blue dress?

an African child
that bemoans the first man of her life
she mourns
tears streaking her ebony face like that of a cheetah
stripped of the joy of childhood
suffering betrayal in the hands of her own blood
like the eleven

who is that girl in that blue dress?
whose immaculateness is at the heart of internal turmoil
the raging sea of depression washing away her gleaning smile
she is the mark of Eden
transformed to a protean terrain full of dark odium

It is I who beckons
the girl in blue dress
the African child lost
in the pubertile course
in the black native daughter of the soil
screaming in anguish,
the told tale of jealousy, hate and envy.
